VICTORIA
REGIA – YAHUARCACA LAKES (Duration: 4 Hours): Departing
by boat to the imaginary point in the middle of the Amazon River,
where Brasil, Colombia and Peru meets. At the lakes you can observe
the exuberant nature of the Amazon, like the famous giant tree “The
Ceiba” and many different bird species and the giant lotus
plants which are known as the famous Victoria Regia. |

OBSERVATION – NIGHT TIME JUNGLE SOUNDS

dinner, if weather conditions permits, we will go out on the river
to observe the South American caiman in their natural habitat. There

(Duration: 8 Hours): By
car we will travel to the natural reserve of Tanimboca at kilometers
eleven (11) via. There you will enjoy tree climbing using alpine
gear on the giant trees that the Amazon region grows. Once up on
the tree tops of over 35 meters you will be able to enjoy the view
of the flora and fauna. |

HUITOTO
INDIANS – ECOLOGICAL WALK (Duration:
8 Hours): Traveling
by car you will go to the 11th kilometers via Leticia Tarapacá
roadway to the community of the HUITOTOS. There you will have the
opportunity visit with native Indians and hear their myths, legends,
folklores and experience their culture. With and qualified guide
you will have the chance of enjoying an ecological walk thru the
jungles of the Amazon, then we will arrive at a natural bathing
spot where you will be able to enjoy a refreshing swim and we will
have a typical lunch the sancho de gallina of the region. |

BENJAMIN
CONSTANT, BRAZIL (Duration:
8 Hours): Departure
in boats downriver towards Brazil, we will pass the town of Tabatinga
on the left side of the river. On the right you find the village
of Ramon Castilla in Peru. We pass the island of Aramaza and turn
into a natural channel on the right side which connects the Amazon
River with the Javari River and at the same time forms the boarder
between Peru and Brazil, where we will have the opportunity to observe
the grey and pink dolphins. Located at the mouth of the Javari River
is Benjamin Constant. There we will visit the Saraiva Lake where
the waters are black and with plenty of flora and fauna, later we
will go the rubber plantation where you can observe the extraction
of latex, following we will go to the ethnographic museum of the
Ticuna Indians. On our way back to the boat we will stop and have
a typical Brazilian lunch. |

AMAZONIAN
TRIBES & MONKEY ISLAND (Duration:
8 Hours): Departing
by boat upriver on the Amazon passing community port of Nazareth,
Col on the right side and on the left will be Puerto Algeria PERU
until we reach the mouth of the Arara Creek. There you will visit
the community of El Progreso which are the TICUNA Indian, where
you will appreciate their lifestyle. A little further and turn into
the Tucushira Creek to visit the primitive YAGUA Indians. You will
have the opportunity to buy some of their handicrafts like bows
and arrows, bark-cloth painting called “ianchamas,”
baskets, necklaces, etc. from both villages. Afterwards you will
go to Monkey Island where you will observe the FRAILEY monkeys in
their natural habitat, then lunch. |

BELLA
VISTA, PERÚ (Duration: 8 Hours):
Departing
by boat upriver towards Puerto Alegria, Peru, turn into the channel
of Yahuma then reaching the mouth of the Cayaru River. Here, is
the junction of two different waters; the black waters of the Cayaru
River and the muddy Amazon waters. We turn into the Cayaru River
and go upstream surrounded by the incredible vegetation rich in
flora and fauna. Many fresh water dolphins inhabit this river. When
reach the Ticuna Indian village of “Bella Vista”, you
have the opportunity to stay for awhile among the Indians and observe
their customs. |

AMACAYACU
PARK - PUERTO NARIÑO - TARAPOTO LAKE (Duration: 8 Hours): Departing
from Leticia upriver towards the community of La Libertad of the
YAGUA Indians for a visit, then we will visit the community of Macedionia
of the TICUNA Indians, which are the ones that work with blood wood
for their arts and crafts. Later we will visit the natural park
Amacayacu where we will have an interpretative ecological walk where
you will be able to observe the giant tree of the Amazon, “La
Ceiba”. Then will go to the Colombian town of PUERTO NARIÑO,
situated en the mouth of the Loreto Yacu River. After having lunch
and visiting the town we will have another very stunning walk in
the jungle and then to the Tarapoto Lakes, where you will have the
opportunity for pictures and filming of the exuberant Amazon. Lunch
will be in Puerto Nariño. |

ZACAMBÚ
- GAMBOA (Duration: 8 Hours): Departing
early from Leticia via the Amazon River towards Gamboa creek behind
the island of Rondiña, Perú. Traveling through Gamboa
Creek to Zacambú Lake to begin your adventure in the thickness
of the jungle. You will be able to observe the pink and grey dolphines
in their natural habitat, also you will take an ecological walk
through the jungle and sightseeing of many different species of
animals that live in this region. |

SPORT
FISHING (Duration: 8 Hours): Departing
early from Leticia via the Amazon River towards the Brazilian, Peruvian
and Colombian lakes, these area are one of the best places for fishermen
specially during the season of July till November. All the lakes
are rich on bass, piranha, catfish and pike.
