Day 01: Bogotá - Leticia - City Tour:  Arrival into Leticia. Transfer to Hotel. After arriving from the Airport and settling in at your hotel, you will depart by boat to the imaginary point in the middle of the Amazon River, where Brazil, Colombia and Peru meets. At the lakes you can observe the exuberant nature of the Amazon, like the giant tree “The Ceiba” and many different bird species and the giant lotus plants which are known as the famous Victoria Regia. Back to the hotel for your welcome cocktail, dinner and lodging.

Day 02: Leticia – Amacayacu Park:  American Breakfast. Departing by boat upriver on the Amazon, passing Nazareth and Puerto Algeria until we reach the mouth of the Pichuna Creek, where you will spend about an hour in bird observation. Then you will continue your journey to Puerto Nariño where you will have lunch. After lunch you will travel to Mocawa Island to observe spectacular species of birds. Later you will head to Amacayacu Park for dinner and to freshen up for our Night Time bird observation. Lodging will be in Amacayacu Park.

Day 03: Amacayacu Park – Puerto Nariño:  American breakfast. First thing in the morning you will be taking a hike through the splendor of the jungle to the San Martin Community where you can take the opportunity for some more wonderful bird watching. Once in San Martin the boat will be waiting for you to take you to Puerto Nariño situated en the mouth of the Loreto Yacu River. Lunch will be served in Puerto Nariño. Later in the afternoon you will go to the Tarapoto Lakes where you can continue finding the splendors of our birds. Tarapoto Lakes also are known for the natural habitat of the gray and pink dolphins. Lodging and dinner.

Day 04: Puerto Nariño – Leticia:  American breakfast. Departing early you will travel back to the city of Leticia where you will have a few hours to enjoy shopping at the gift shops. Transfer to airport for your trip back to Bogotá.
